Central Office Switch Provisioning
   • Nortel DMS-100 switch

The provisioning of services into the DMS-100 switch can be managed via the DMS-100 Control Centre. The TeleCARE DMS-100 Control Centre provides flexible definitions of the services available to the customer and provisions them onto the network.

Flexible combinations of switch service parameters are possible in order to specify the class and type of service on a per customer or per customer group basis.

The User can define combinations of account parameters and the resulting network provisioning parameters which will automatically be provisioned to the network when that customer account is activated. The provisioning parameters will include:
   • NCOS ( Network Class Of Service) level
   • Customer Group
   • Switch ID or Switch Group ID to which the customer CLI will be provisioned

Therefore, the specific switch service level and also the specific switch or group of switches to which that customer is provisioned can be predefined and automatically downloaded to the network and based on user-definable customer account parameters.

This flexible service definition gives great flexibility for example in branding services where re-seller based services are on offer and also for regional-specific services.

The provisioning process is completely seamless and takes place instantaneously. It can be performed on a batch basis, or individual basis.

Flexible IN provisioning is achieved by multiple of product and service parameters that provide for multiple product and service definitions.
Examples of services provisioned include:
       - Prepaid & Postpaid Calling Cards
       - Prepaid & Postpaid Indirect Access
       - Prepaid & Postpaid Internet Services
       - Number Translation Services

These services can be provisioned via:
       - Call Centre Clients
       - Web Self-Care front-end
       - 3rd Party system API

IP Services Provisioning
Flexible Provisioning of these services is provided by:
   • IP Directory Services (LDAP)
   • RADIUS Servers (for Dial - up ISP Services)
